Shipping Timelines

Fabric Collars & Leashes: Collars are ready-to-ship, and require up to one week for processing time prior to shipment. If your order includes a leash, please note that the leash will take one week to create, plus additional processing time. We strive to complete our custom orders as quickly we we can!

TUNDRA and Lake Life Collars & Leashes: We try to keep these collars in stock and ready-to-ship, but collars may be subject to a one week processing time depending on our inventory. Leashes will require one week to create, and may be subject to additional processing time.

Canadian and US orders ship using Canada Post.

Local Pick-Up

For local pick-up orders (See Winnipeg Local Pick-Up tab in main menu) please note that local drop-offs to each of these locations occur twice per month. This means that you will have to wait longer for your order than you would if you chose to have it shipped to you via Canada Post.   The days of deliveries are based on order volume, and vary from month to month. Once your item has been dropped off at your pick-up location, you will receive an email notification to the email address associated with your transaction. 

Once Your Item has Shipped

All items ship from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada using Canada Post. After your item is shipped, please anticipate the following shipping times:

  • Within Canada:
    • Usually 3-7 business days.
    • Shipped via Expedited Parcel
    • Includes tracking
  • United States:
    • Usually 1-2 weeks
    • Includes tracking
  • International Orders:
    • Usually 2-4 weeks - may be longer depending on your country's customs
    • Shipped via Small Packet International Air via Canada Post, does not include tracking.

Lewis & Clark Collar Co. ship to the address that you provided when making your purchase. If this address is incorrect, please contact me as soon as possible. Orders that are shipped to a previous or incorrect address will not be refunded.  If the item is returned to Lewis & Clark Collar Co. (i.e., return to sender) the buyer will be responsible for all charges incurred to re-ship the package. 

Please note that orders may be delayed due to factors beyond our control, including, but not limited to, adverse weather, heavy mail volumes, or country's specific custom laws.   All import laws, import and duty fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Please consult with your customs agency prior to ordering if you feel this may impact your purchase.  If a package is marked as "delivered", and has been shipped with tracking, a formal investigation will be initiated through the appropriate shipping agency will be initiated if the buyer states that the package was not delivered.

All packaged are carefully hand wrapped and mailed in a bubble mailer.
